Bistro Lounge

Strand Hotel is a guest house reference when it comes to enjoy the tourism at paradisiac Tombo Beach, in Guarujá, Brazil.

German gastronomy, which prevails at its restaurant, has been the main traditional option for several years; however, the managing family felt it was time for a change. In order to offer different flavours to our clients and allure new ones, we decided to make it come off a little and so the ambience was refashioned in the end of 2009.

After massive investments for remodelling the place, both in space and in concepts, it is reborn as Bistro Lounge.

As a Bistro, it´s possible to appreciate the Mediterranean culinary with predominance of seafood and tasteful dishes, desserts and delicacies also made for breakfast, all developed by the renowned chef José Taciano Rosa. As a Lounge, the space was created with a modern design including many types of ambiences, high tables, sofas and the best: ocean view.

More than a simple restaurant, Bistro Lounge is a place created in way to make people spend a good time together, meet friends, have a romantic dinner or maybe have champagne while they are sitting on the sofa, looking at the ocean. All of this can be done at the same place.

Strand Hotel is a part of the history of Guarujá city as a tourist destination. Because of this we put a photographic exhibition by Osvaldo Cáfaro together, which shows rare and antique pictures of the town. To complete this sensation of well-being, we offer pleasant background music and personalized service.

On the outside we have sofas and retractable awnings which guarantee a great view at the ocean. The space has been designed by architects Edgar Pistelli and Daniel Cardoso aiming to create an extension of the beach and thus offer a special ambience to all clients and visitors of Bistro Lounge.
